PRODUCER, THEATRE MAKER

I am a freelance Theatre Maker with over 20 years of experience in creating, producing and directing productions and projects primarily with and for young people and emerging creatives. I also work extensively with Digital tech in my work and for others, using digital innovation to help enhance and tell stories.
My work is process-focused and ensemble-driven; creating safe and supportive environments that allow participants to express themselves freely. My use of digital technology in my theatre work has also led me to produce video content for various companies around the UK.
Previously I was Creative Producer at The Point and Berry Theatre’s where I produced various festivals and events, ran the youth theatre and outreach department; directed productions, ran wide-reaching education, training, and artist development programs, and worked with dis-engaged and hard-to-reach people through community outreach schemes. I was also Operations Director at Phoenix Arts in Bordon where I managed company-wide change to help secure its future as a new NPO-funded organisation.
